Each cup is handmade by myself in my home studio. I use a process called slip casting, where liquid clay is poured into plaster molds, and as water is wicked out of the slip, a wall forms, it is then demolded, cleaned up, and bisque fired in my kiln. Then each cup is painstakingly glazed, every dot of glaze being placed by hand, and fired once more for the final result.
Please Note: there will be small variations in every cup that I produce, it is the nature of ceramics to a degree, but also, the colors used are picked randomly as I glaze the cup, so that every cup made is unique, and no two are exactly the same.
Each cup is made to order and will ship between 5-7 days of your order being placed. Every piece is packed with care to ensure it survives the journey to you.
